In this blog I will talk about the changes that could be made in the career of social work at the university of chile (this is the career that I study).  Regarding the curriculum I think that some subjects could be changed for others that focus more on the practice of the social worker, that prepare us to be good professionals, that teach us how we should work and practice the career. The workload could be decreased to prioritize the mental health of us, the students, without being considered lazy for demanding less study. As well as the number of years the career lasts, it could easily be reduced to 3, emphasizing what is most important. On the other hand, I do not know the infrastructure in detail, but as far as the casinos are concerned, they should be larger for the number of students that we are so that we can all eat in optimal conditions. Hi everyone hope everything is fine!! Today I will talk about the graduates studies.  I would like to study in a Master´s Program in Spain are after undergrade studies, something related to childhood, to feminism or to gender violence. Sincerely, I am interested more the childhood, since as I said in the previous blog, children are my weakness.  Finishing my current career (social work), I would like to study psychology, because it was my second option, so if I had the financial means and the incentive, I would. Most likely I will, because psychology deals with topics of interest to me, such as the emotions, behaviour, mental problems, among others.  On the other hand, I would like study language teaching, I am not sure, because I like teach, but I do not feel prepared.  Another subject that interests me is social history because its object of study is the society as a whole.  I would love to study outside of Chile, especially in Spain, ...

Hi everyone, hope everything is fine!! today i will talk about my dream job.  My dream job would be practicing social work in the Sename, public hospitals or courts, because they are the places with the most problems and needs. I imagine firstly, helping the children and elderly being able to give them tools for a better life. I will need to be an empathic person, because I have to put myself in the other's place. Also I must be strong for the unfair situations that I will witness. From now on I know that the salary is not much, but the vocation is real and sincere. I  study the career of  social work in the University of Chile, I am in my second year. Hi everyone, hope everything is fine!! My name is Jessica and today i will talk about my best vacation ever.  My best vacation was in the winter vacation in 2021 with my friends: Victoria, Isidora, Valentina, Alfredo and Constanza. We went to Viña del Mar, specifically Concon, to my brother´s house. We traveled by bus and local buses. We were  five days there (wonderful days). It was so much fun because my friend Valentina didn´t know the beach, so it was a new experence. Also it was our first vacation together, until now.  The activities were:  - We visited the surrounding beaches, "La Boca", "Playa amarilla", among others.  - We ate corncod, pasty, noodles with cream and mushroom, pizza, sushi, waffles, strawberry with chocolate and lots of delicious food  - We visited the most known bar of Concon, the "Bocabar" and we tried delicious drinks and food  - Some bathed in the beach, it was very cold  - We have a pyjamas party in the house.  Thi...

My name is Jessica and  today i will talk about the country i would like to visit some day.  I would like to visit Brazil, located in South America, because it is a very large country, it has a tropical climate and it is a beautiful place. I know the Brasil that has sweet and enormous carnivals. Also I know that it symbolize the statue Cristo Redentor, because it measure 38 meters and the language they speak is Portuguese. I would like to visit the Río de Janeiro, because it is a city of Brazil, and there find the Cristo Redentor and the Copacabana beach, it is a very cute. And the other hand, I would like to drink caipiriña and eat the typical foods. I would like to work and live in Brasil, but a short time, because I miss my family, friends and my house.
